Diane Rosenblum was born in San Francisco, and is based there today. Her art combines numinous images with rigorous conceptual practice. Her bodies of work, in addition to My Mother's Garden, include: Clouds for Comment, A Measure of Art, and The Naked Truth About Women. Her art is held in twenty museum collections including the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the LA County Museum of Art, and the Cleveland Museum of Art, and in important private collections. She graduated from Oberlin College and has a Master's from Brooks Institute of Photography.
